Our newly painted house

It is hard to see, but we turned our white house a grayish/brown. A few were curious as to what color we were doing, so I thought I would just post some pics. We hired it out, yes, we could have saved some money, but after watching it being done we feel it was money well spent. They did an excellent job and had two crews working on it and did it in 2 days!!! It was really nice that we were able to have everything back to normal so fast. Ellie being the social butterfly REALLY wanted them to come upstairs and see her "pink" room! She loves to show anyone who will look, her girly room. I had to have a little conversation with her about it even though it is really sweet. We tackled the yard while they were here and got a ton accomplished and it feels so great!! If you remember, last summer I was so sick with the pregnancy I did not do a darn thing in the yard, so I had a lot to catch up on. Rog also found time to build me a bird house that will go on a post in the flower bed for my birthday. The homemade gifts are so special, since they are made out of love =) I was just wanting one that was plain cedar, but he spiced it up and made it look like a barn and painted it red. He always gets so creative when he gets going on something, I love it!!!! I'll have to get a picture of it posted.
